| Discovery Notes | The soil sample was taken from a tree in front of Everett House on Keeney Quad. The soil was particularly moist because it had rained on Providence shortly before I collected my sample and because I collected my soil less than a foot from the base of the tree. |
| Naming Notes | My first thought when I saw my phage was that it had a big head. I also thought it would be a privilege to say that Kanye had, quite literally, gone viral.
While I was initially devastated that I couldn't come up with a pun involving phage due to the naming rules (Ellen Phage and Nacho Phage were casualties of such rules), Kanye was a very welcome consolation prize. |
