| Sequencing Notes | During sequencing, it appeared that the sample contained two Cluster B1 phages that were fairly similar. This caused the assembler to break the genome into many pieces at the areas of disagreement. The genome was put back together based on coverage, since one "species" had about 3 times the coverage of the other, so all of the high coverage contigs were stitched together to make the Buckeye genome. Still, there was definitely a secondary genome in the DNA sample that was sequenced, and it was another Cluster B1 phage. |
