Discovery NotesBurr was found under a tree in between the science center and Sweeney Field on the campus of Saint Joseph's University on September 4th, 2018. The weather was very sunny as it was the third day of a heat wave. The humidity was 57% and the ambient temperature was 32 degrees C. In addition, the depth of the soil collected was 3 cm.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after the character Aaron Burr from the musical Hamilton. His song "Wait For It" is representative of the fact that it took many attempts for the phage to form plaques to complete a spot pick.
