Discovery NotesMy phage is from a water sample obtained from the 1st blue hole at Lost River Cave. I collected the water from an area that had floating brown specks on the waters surface, and small debris. Area contained trees, and there were leaves along with a fallen log in the water.
Naming NotesWhen I first saw what bacteriophage looked like, I thought the capsid heads resembled little blobs, and figured Blubba would be a suiting name. After my EM pictures, I definitely agree that it's fitting.
