Lysogeny NotesTEM imaging shows a Myoviridae structure, which is known for large genomes and lytic life cycles. Our gels also revealed a strong high-molecular-weight DNA band, which fits that expectation. In addition, the Phage Release Assay showed no plaques and full bacterial growth, suggesting that Pharkle Minkus kills its host instead of integrating. No phage is released, so it is presumed lytic.
