Discovery Notes | Soil collected from the Richard Stockton rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. The sample was collected near the side walk under the shade of a tree. Came from the same soil sample as the mycobacteriophage Turnpike. |
Naming Notes | The name is derived from the last name of my sophmore year Biotechnology teacher in high school. His name is David Fusco, but many "f" sounds in phage research are replaced with "ph". |
