| Discovery Notes | The environmental sample was collected from a garden bed at the UNLV community garden. The soil had a black/brown color and came from an area with partial shading. The time of collection was 10:31am on 9/3/19. The the ambient temperature was 96ºF, humidity was 23%, and wind speed was 4mph. |
| Naming Notes | Initially, the phage was supposed to be an anagram of the UTA's that gave us the adopted plate. It has since evolved into the name "Ronan" after the villain in Guardians of the Galaxy. |
