From enriched soil sample?Yes
Isolation Temperature26°C
GPS Coordinates32.466 N, 94.731 W Map
Discovery NotesHumidity was 90% at the time of sample collection. The sample was evidently sandy, but there were signs of mulch use. The soil was collected approximately 8 inches away from the base of a tree.
Naming Notes'Chaph' comes from chaff, a Biblical reference to the undesirable side-product of wheat. Historically, chaff serves no purpose. Initially, we were told the soil was undesirable, like chaff. Ironically, this soil was the only sample of five to be successful.
