Discovery NotesElevation: 103 meters
Soil sample was collected from underneath a clump of berry bushes in sandy soil fraught with leaf decay at 10:25am. Many bees, wasps, and other insects were in attendance. The temperature was 24° C with 100% humidity.
Naming NotesThe name "Koreni" stems from the word Koření, meaning spice in Czech. We chose this name because our sample was collected from under a pepper berry bush, and a name connected to peppers or spice seemed to fit.
