Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected in a flower garden. There were small flowers, bushes, grass, and wood chips. The flower garden was planted over a year ago. It was sunny and the temperature was 28.88 degrees Celsius. The soil was moist, consisted of potting soil, and was regularly water.
Naming NotesI named my phage after my grandfather, Glen. His middle name is Francis and the year he was born was 1947.

Sequencing NotesThe reads from this sample showed several deletions were present in some subset of the population. It's not clear whether the three different sections were deleted at once, but there was no evidence that the second and third deletions occurred together. That is, either the second deletion happened, or the third, or neither, but not both 2 and 3 in the same population.

About 20% of the reads indicate a 2964 bp deletion from 26691 to 29654, inclusive.
About 15% of the reads indicate a 449 bp deletion from 50614 to 51062, inclusive.
About 15% of the reads indicate a 563 bp deletion from 51008 to 51570, inclusive.

Plaque NotesThe plaque is relatively large at 10mm. The plaque has one big circle, and surrounding it is a halo. The halo is 5mm. The circle in the middle is cloudy, and the outline of the circle is defined. The halo surrounding the circle is even more defined.
