Plaque Notes | Two morphologies: 1) The larger morphology is around 2.9mm and has a turbid outer rim with a clear center after incubation for 24 hours at 32 degrees Celsius. After 42 hours they are now 5.0 mm with a “bull’s eye” pattern, alternating between clear and turbid. The centers are turbid, then clear, then turbid, then clear, then a turbid outer ring 2) The smaller morphology is less than 0.1 mm after 24 hours of incubation at 32 degrees Celsius. After 42 hours the morphology is identical to that of the larger morphology after only 24 hours of incubation (~3mm with a turbid outer rim and clear center).
