| Discovery Notes | This phage was found in a wet soil sample collected from the Spokane river bank. Sarah Kaczmarek and Ada Twardus did the sample collection and we adopted this phage enrichment from them to proceed with the isolation. |
| Naming Notes | We chose MegTheThird because it took three rounds of plaque purification, and this was the third sample we tried isolating. We were also listening to Megan Thee Stallion when brainstorming. |
