Discovery NotesA soil sample was collected at my home on top of Kendall Hill (910 ft. elevation) in the Crystal Ridge Estates neighborhood of Crystal Lake, Ellington, Connecticut, on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 2:09 p.m. The soil was frozen and was scratched off the top of the frozen surface. The weather was partly cloudy and -1.7 degrees C.
Naming NotesThe phage name "Calvinny" is named after my childhood cat, Calvin; this was his favorite part of the yard when he went outside.
