Discovery Notes | The sample was collected outside of our dining hall in Providence, RI around 2:00 pm. The weather was 80 degree Fahrenheit (26.6 degrees Celsius) on a mostly cloudy but humid day. The soil was collected in a garden of clumpy rich soil under a layer of mulch. |
Naming Notes | I wanted to show my appreciation to my family by using an iteration of our shared nickname, "The Greene Monster." We came up with it because we’re all die-hard Red Sox fans and bond over our love for baseball. |
