Discovery Notes | I collected the soil sample from the bank of the Grim Dell, digging about an inch into the mud. The soil was very wet and gritty, filled with dead leaves. |

Plaque Notes | The plaque had huge bullseye morphologies at certain rounds of purification and circular plaques at other rounds. The plaques from earlier isolation rounds were smaller, about 1/4 inch in diameter. The plaques from later purification rounds were about 1/8 inch in diameter. The plaques from the last round were about 3/8 inch in diameter. |
