Discovery NotesSample came from the woodchip topped soil of a shrub garden located in front of downtown Ottawa's Centretown police station.
Naming NotesStarted as Skywalker, since phages always look otherworldly to me, but there was a phase in my experiment where we thought my phage died after isolation. After various assays, it showed activity again and 'came back from the dead' in a way. Vader seems more fitting since Anakin Skywalker came back from the brink of death as Darth Vader.
