Notes: 9:52 am CET, Sherlyn collected a soil sample near the pond of LeTourneau University. I removed the top foliage first, dug a hole that was about 11 cm wide and 4 cm deep with a plastic spoon, then collected 10mL to use as my initial sample soil. The soil was rich, moist and dark. It was also loose and the surrounding soil contained worms. The weather was sunny, clear sky, and was a temperature of 26°C
Naming NotesBecause we were so thankful for our teacher Dr. Baliraine helping us with the lab after we had failed the first time we decided to name our phage after him as a way to acknowledge him for our success.
