| Naming Notes | Katniss Everdeen is a character from the Hunger Games who had to overcome a lot of fictional adversity. I name my phage in her honor. Also my phage is very active (individual plaques were not visible from streaking, and my HTL was drawn from web plate diluted all the way to 10^-5) so the name, phonetically sounding like "Fat"niss, is also applicable because it enjoys its fair share of bacteria. |
