| Sequencing Notes | There is a region, from ~41400 to ~41740, in the finished genome sequence that has a number of very similar 12 bp repeats. The first triplet of each instance of this 12 bp repeat is variable, but the remaining 9 bp are consistent. Because of the difficulty of sequencing this region, and the distinct possibility that there are multiple arrangements of these repeats in the phage population, we've reported our best-guess sequence as the final sequence, though it's unlikely to be the only variant present.
The repeated sequence is: NNNGAGCGCCGC |
