| Discovery Notes | The sample was collected from dry top soil in a flower garden. The soil had lots of roots and bits of dead plant. I collected the sample in the morning at around 7am. I used a plastic back to scoop it up and it was kept in my bag for a few hours before isolation. |
| Naming Notes | I named the phage TreyKay as a play on my name and surname Trevor khaba. Trey being a nickname that I am sometimes called and kay as the first letter of my surname written out. Im not known for my creativity i would have just named it Trevorkhaba after myself but alas, rules. So to me it will always unofficially be the Trevorkhaba phage. |
